6th Annual Chihuahua Races in Terlingua Ghosttown

Saturday, April 4th, at 10:00 a.m., the 6th Annual, Desert Chihuahuan Challenge, Chihuahua Dog Races will take place in the Terlingua Ghostown. Proceeds will benefit The Family Crisis Center of The Big Bend. This event is a perfect example of Terlingua living; folks coming together to have fun and raise money for a good cause.
April is Sexual Assault Awareness Prevention Month. On the Wenesday, April 1st, in Terlingua, The Family Crisis Center of the Big Bend will be visiting businesses to hand out brochures and raise awareness on this issue. In Alpine on Friday, April 3rd, at 10:00 a.m., the Crisis Center will host a table for educational materials and donations at the Food Basket Grocery Store. Drop by and pick up an Awareness Ribbon to show your support! Saturday, April 4th, at 10:00 a.m., the 6th Annual, Desert Chihuahuan Challenge, Chihuahua Dog Races will take place in the Terlingua Ghostown. Proceeds will benefit The Family Crisis Center of The Big Bend. The Crisis Center will be having events in Terlingua, Presidio and Alpine all month long; the times and dates of these events will be announced in your local newspaper.
