 –Last Weekend

I got a chance to check out a couple of bands that played.  Unfortunately I was only able to get usable video of one of them.

  • The Side Show Tragedy is a fantastic rock and roll three piece that played mostly original music for free.  Powerful wide ranged vocals with a strong rhythm section made it easy to see why they were able to fill an Ozarka water cooler bottle with tips.
  • Back Porch Mary is a southern-styled mellow rock and roll with a hint of rock-a-billy that had a remenesence of Mike Ness from Social Distortion.  Overall, they were a well rounded original band that at times if I closed my eyes could have sworn I was listening to Tom Petty and the Heart Breakers with some new material.  Videos from that show can be viewed Here.
