Chihuahuan Desert Research Institute in Fort Davis

I am a long-time resident of West Texas, and I shamefully admit that Saturday was my first trip to the CDRI in Fort Davis, Texas.
Cynthia McAlister, a graduate student in biology at Sul Ross, shows off an exhibit of pollinating insects:

I strongly urge everybody to take advantage of this wonderful resource. Their website is here.
This is an essential resource for all of West Texas! Alpine and Marfa included.
