La Junta will be open this weekend, Friday-Saturday 10am-9pm and Sunday 11am-6pm.
We will be serving light hors d’oeuvres, wine, and hot apple cider.
We’ll have a selected group of photo copied images on display of West Texas frontera style and fashion from the 1840s-1930s.
The images come from the Steve & May Bennett, Thomas V. Skaggs, E.E. Townsend, and the Clifford B. Casey collections from the Archives of the Big Bend. Also, we’ll have the NO AL MURO/NO WALL mural on display in the alley gallery behind the shop. The weekend will be documented on the La Junta blog.
