Farm Stand Marfa has its opening day, Saturday March 14th at 10 am (and every Saturday from then on) in Marfa. Stop by the farmer’s market there along the Railroad tracks on South Highland in Marfa, Texas and check out great local produce and other foodstuffs.
West Texas Weekly takes a look on March 21st.

Saturday March 14th we will be opening for the year. You can find your favorite vendors every Saturday from 10 – 11 am.

Our beloved BeeMan, Wilborn Elliott, the beekeeper, is in the hospital in Odessa. His left leg was crushed below the knee by a young 1400 lb bull, Wilborn describes as “just wanting to play.”
Send all of your healing wishes to Wilborn so that he will be back at Farm Stand next month with fresh eggs.

WILBORN! ALL OF FARM STAND AND MARFA LOVE YOU DEARLY, DEEPLY AND MADLY.

Hello,

if I want to sell a couple vintage items I have, would I be able to at this Saturday’s farmstand? I am coming from El Paso, is there a fee to sell there?

Thank you!

I don’t think that’s a problem, Cynthia. I see people selling non-food items there all the time.

Do you have to have a vendors license to sell at the Farmers Market?

To the best of my knowledge, no, you don’t need a permit.
