Tranquil Lodging Accommodations at the Terlingua Ranch Resort

The lodging options at the Terlingua Ranch Resort include rustic cabins, secluded RV hookups and old fashioned camping spots.

Located at the foot of the White House Mountains are eight rustic buildings with a total of thirty-two guest rooms. Each room is designed for visitors that truly want to “get away” from the modern conveniences that can complicate life.

Guests will find no televisions, microwaves, refrigerators or even coffee pots in these simple rooms. The scenic mountain views and comfortable full size beds provide the perfect ending to a long day of hiking in the wilderness of the park.

Room rates start at $68.00 per night, with non-smoking and handicap rooms available upon request. Guests who simply can’t live without the Internet will be pleased to find that free Wi-Fi is available at the office.

Laundry facilities and a full-service bathhouse are also offered to guests.  

For those that prefer to rest in their own accommodations, Terlingua Ranch Resort (Lodge) has eight upper RV sites located at the base of the Whitehouse Mountains and twelve lower sites near the campgrounds.

Each site is designed for smaller camping trailers and both locations offer 20, 30 and 50 amp service. The upper sites are $24.00 per night and the lower sites are $20.00 per night.

A campground, located behind the lower RV area, is available for guests that want to be a little closer to the country. Each site is $5.00 per person, per night and includes use of the bathhouse and pool.

Terlingua Ranch Resort’s Creative Cuisine

Judy’s Bad Rabbit Café is a full-service restaurant offering food and beverage in a peaceful atmosphere. Daily specials are available and the hours of operation vary according to motel occupancy. Other Big Bend restaurants can be found nearby in the Terlingua Ghost Town.

Planning a visit to Big Bend can be daunting for those that are unfamiliar with the area. Besides offering a luxurious pool and two relaxing party patios to guests, the Terlingua Ranch Resort will also make reservations for those who want to enjoy the recreational opportunities located in the area.

Having a party? Two beautiful patios are offered for celebrations, company luncheons or family retreats. Each patio costs $25.00 per party and prior reservations are required for private use. Group rates are not available during holidays or peak times of year.
