The Green Scene is an art and film festival in the Terlingua Ghosttown that has an environmental slant.

TERLINGUA – Terlingua’s first Green Scene is set for all day Saturday, April 11 in the Ghost Town.
Events start at 8am with an artists’ market. Throughout the day, hands-on demonstrations of sustainable building practices, like rain catchment, solar power, cob construction and ferrous cement techniques will be presented.
Music will also be a part of the event.
At 4pm, catch the story telling by Blair Pitman, followed by Cynthia Hood and dancers on the porch at 5:30pm.
Actors from last Minute Low Budget productions take the stage at the Starlight at 7pm. When dark falls, the film fest starts in the Secret Garden behind the Starlight. Four films will be screened, including Crystal Allbright’s Summer 2008 high-water footage.
A dance at the Boathouse follows.
This event is sponsored by Terlingua Community Recyclling and all proceeds will go to continuing their efforts.
