Big Bend Video

Strange things are going on in Redford… do I have any readers down there? Perhaps the Classical Wineaux should check out the scene with Chicken Head George and the Geocache artist.

same sex marriage
My business mentor and good poker buddy, Martin Benevich, is a perfect example of how good-natured tolerance flourishes in small towns.

He designed this cartoon you see here as a light-hearted gesture of support for the gay marriage movement. His friend, Hugh McLeod, was good enough to capture it in cartoon form.

In our global village strange things can happen; through international exposure on Gaping Void this may be the official device of an Irish Gay Pride parade. It’s funny to think that Killkenny County drag queens could dance and march under a banner designed and drawn here in Alpine, Texas.

We are all members of the human family throughout the world. We have to practice a good-natured and humorous tolerance of the foibles and peccadilloes we encounter in our brothers and sisters.
